BY BUS (from NYC or DC):
The BUS might is the best easiest way ever to get to Philly from
NYC or DC. The Chinatown-to-Chinatown
buses offer a direct ride that takes under 2 hours and only
costs about $10 bucks! (Forget Greyhound.)
These bus companies are practically identical: they all leave pretty much every hour
until midnight, they leave from the either Chinatown or Midtown
in NYC and come to Chinatown or Center City in Philly.
Make sure you get there early, even if you ordering a ticket
ahead of time. Schedules
& details are at their websites:
Once you get Philly you'll be right in the middle of town. If we can't come get you and you don’t see a
cab
right there, the two taxi companies we
recommend are below, and should cost about $6 bucks:
BY TRAIN
If you must do the train, look a the
NJ Transit site. You'll have to change
trains in Trenton, NJ.
And then for those with
some money to burn, there's always Amtrak.
